Black Diamond is an adventurous quartet that features the music of saxophonists Artie Black and Hunter Diamond. The group’s instrumentation creates a space for high-energy improvisation and melodicism. Though heavily influenced by jazz music of the 1950s and 60s, the quartet’s compositions feature elements of contemporary folk and world music.
